Barbless hooks: The use of barbless
hooks is encouraged. A sharp point will
anchor itself in the boney roof of the
fish’s mouth, a barbless hook will cause
little damage to the fleshy part of the jaw,
and aid in quick and efficient release of
unwanted fish. BTW- if you accidentally hook
yourself, you will really appreciate a
barbless hook!
