New Stohlquist EZ Drysuit!

This new drysuit - the EZ – is the latest in the line of drysuit innovations from Stohlquist. Building upon the enormously popular Body-Pod, Stohlquist has created the new EZ Drysuit.

This drysuit is so new, information and pictures are not yet available on the Stohlquist website (www.stohlquist.com), nor is promotional material available to the dealers ...or the public!

We have the new suits in the shop and will use our amateur  photos until better are available.

Availability:
Paddle Shack is among the few paddle sports shops world wide that will have an early shipment of the new EZ Drysuit by Stohlquist. The first shipments of suits will be standard (no spray skirt over tunnel) with plans to have tunneled models and women's specific models available by July of 2012.

Sizing:
The new EZ drysuit will be available in a full range of sizes from XS Men's to fit youths under 90 pounds to men's XXL. Women's suits will be available from XS - XL.

Colors:
The initial offering will be Black with red accent piping.
In the future - possibly - Sunflower, Mocha, Driftwood, Red

Super stretch Neoprene "Neo-Dry" Neck Gasket.

Softer neoprene coated "Duraseal" latex wrist gaskets are more UV resistant and offer greater durability and tear resistance.

Completely revised seam pattern eliminates all 4-way intersections.
 

Cordura reinforced seat and knees with mesh drainers - Sleek & articulated armored knees.

Fabric socks (4 Layer Twin Sensor Waterproof Breathable Fabric) - amply sized to allow for insulating socks.

Adjustable neoprene wrist and ankle covers - easily adjusted even while wearing gloves.

The EZ is appropriately named!
Yes, it is hard to believe that Stohlquist could improve upon the Body Pod - but they did!
They actually took all the in-put from customers about little things that could be improved and addressed those slight concerns, and the result is ... well ... EZ.

The zippers are EZier to open & close. The zipper handle is EZierr to grip. The zipper itself seems to flex better with the suit than did the zip on the B-Pod, conforming to your body motions.

The new EZ suit is slightly fuller cut than the B-Pod and is EZier to get on and off.

The neoprene coated "Duraseal" latex wrist gaskets are noticeably EZier going on or off, and as a bonus, are more UV resistant and offer greater durability and tear resistance.

The super stretchy glide-skin neoprene neck gasket is comfortable from the second it seals onto your neck. It is so EZ to wear, you will forget about it in seconds.

The adjustable neoprene wrist and ankle covers are EZier to grip and adjust even while wearing gloves.

The plus to the fabric is that it breaths better - although I have no complaints about the function of the B-Pod, the Twin Sensor fabric is actually a better fabric!

The only thing missing is the small shoulder sleeve pocket on the B-Pod that was good for storing pencil flares of energy bars. But for the difference between the cost of this suit and a similar Kokotat you can buy and store lots of energy bars.
